Dude! You are one crazy man! This sounds really cool and interesting, I must have read about polyphasic sleep years ago because I ran into a guy (doing one of my many MLM's) ;) and he said that is how he slept. He did not go into the details however, it seemed like a pretty cool concept. But like you said, you would need to have a very flexible schedule to train your body to change it's habit. I do not have this luxury considering my line of work. ;) I too have a lot on my plate but would never be able to regulate this kind of sleep schedule. I remember when I was in the military I trained myself to sleep standing up while I was on guard duty or to get a quick shut-eye while performing many hours of intense training. I taught some of my fellow buddies some had difficulty others caught-on pretty fast. What I don't recommend is not sleeping for more than 96 hours! You will crash hard and stay asleep for almost a day and a half! Well Brother-man I hope all goes well let me know what your results are.

If nothing else, you've already proven to yourself (for the millionth time) that you are persistent and will persevere! Even though this was extremely difficult and most people wouldn't even consider attempting it, you've already pushed through some of the hardest parts and made it to day 4! Congrats on that! I do hope it gets better for you soon, so you can decide if it's what you want to do or not.

Good advice for me to enjoy the process... I have to remember, when it get's hard, that I get to do this. I'm blessed.

Yeah the day is feeling REALLY long right now. ;) But it will be worth it... if for nothing else, for the experience. And thanks for the kind words.

So, it's funny that you already have 3 posts and I'm just rolling out of bed! This will be interesting. I know these first few days are going to be extremely hard for you, but hopefully, you can get through them and start feeling better and decide what you really think about this. =) Like everyone else said, if anyone can do it, you can! The only downside I see to these next few days is that they won't "fly by". Your days are probably feeling a lot longer than they ever have before - add sleep deprivation on top of that and that sounds awful! But, again, I'm sure you'll be loving it after you get beyond the initial hard part. I love you and I know you can do it. (Even though I might not know WHY anyone would want to do it! HA!!)

You crraaaaaazzzy mofo Paul!

I like it!

very interesting concept indeed. I'll be following along with your experiment, and if it helps you to become a millionaire in 3 weeks, I might just have to try it myself :D
